10K run~5K run/walk~1 mile track walk and fun runs for kids
A beautiful scenic run, all paved basically flat course. Just 40 short minutes from Grand Rapids, Big Rapids and Mt Pleasant.
Willdcat P.R.I.D.E. Runfest is more than just an event that will take place September 30th , starting at 2 pm, at Kos field. It is more than just a 10K-5K run/walk, 1-mile track walk, and a fun run for kids. It is more than just a community event. It is more than just a fundraiser to benefit Lakeview Community Schools. It is more than just an opportunity for local merchants to sponsor and support a worthwhile event in the community. What it is, is the passion of a few who want to see kids get up, get moving, and get healthy; and even more importantly discover how much fun physical fitness can be.
What it is, is a 6-weeks training program already underway where parents, teachers, and peers volunteer their time to work with kids of all ages to teach the fundamentals of stretching, running, setting goals, and the satisfaction of achievement.
What it is, is an opportunity to strengthen Wildcat P.R.I.D.E. and personal pride.
P stands for "positive attitude."

What it is, is a 5K race that will take you right through historic Lakeview along Tamarack Lake, and back to Lakeview High School Track.
What it is, is a 10K race that will take the runner out and around Tamarack Lake and then back through downtown Lakeview, ending up on the Lakeview High School Track Located at Kos Field.
What it is, is fun runs on the track immediately following the end of the road races.
What it is, is an opportunity for you to get involved, and to volunteer. Volunteers are greatly needed!
